It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lou McMurray of West Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lou shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lou farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (116 NE Perry Ave, Peoria, IL 61603). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church Foundation or South Side Mission.
