It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Nicholson of West Peoria, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Monroe and Pauline Estelle Shepard (Hefner). She is survived by: her spouse Founty Abel Nicholson; her children, Kim Kellems (Randy) of West Peoria and Scott Nicholson (Marzena) of Peoria; her grandson Matthew Nicholson (Melissa); her great grandchild Amelia Nicholson; and her siblings, Robert Shepard (Marilyn) and Madge White (Greg).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen for breast cancer research or Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
