With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma G. Cook (West Frankfort, Illinois), born in Thompsonville, Illinois, who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora B. McDaniel Sr. and Mary Della McDaniel (Carter); her former husband Hugo Jurgemeyer; her husband James Vana Cook; and her siblings, Gladys Biggs, Bulah Raymond, Vernon McDaniel, Denzil Summers, Clara Pickett, Frances Thomas, Ora B. McDaniel Jr., Joe, James and Billy Eugene.
She is survived by: her stepson Craig Cook (Connie) of Thompsonville; her stepson-in-law Bruce Dotson of Thompsonville; and her nephew Charles McDaniel (Sharon) of West Frankfort. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions it is mandated that mask be worn and 10 people or less be in attendance at the service.
