He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Brad (Dawn), Larry, Steve, Scott (Anna Thrasher) and Chris Melvin (Brigett); his grandchildren, Misty Manfield, Josh Melvin, Cassie Williams, Christopher Melvin, Ashley Melvin and Brandon Melvin; and his brother Denny Melvin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
