It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vallie Ray Griggs (West Frankfort, Illinois), who passed away on June 1, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Kenny; and his brothers, Phillip, Jerry and Teddy. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Griggs; his sons, Marty Griggs and Phillip Griggs (Lynette); and his siblings, Bill Griggs (Shirley) and Winona Griggs. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
