It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tami Jo Caraway-Mitchell of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Bonne Terre, Missouri, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Caraway; her husbands, Mark Sailly and Robert Mitchell; her grandparents, Maurice, Wanda Howe (Willis), William and Molee Caraway Bonacorsi (Williams); her aunts, Diana Reed (Howe), Shirley Sullivan (Howe) and Betty Taylor (Caraway); her uncle Bill Caraway; her niece Jody Berry (Caraway); and her cousins, Jennifer Sullivan Mueller and Lisa Taylor Pickles.

She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Caraway (Howe) of Herrin; her daughter Bobbi Sailly Kilbarger; her son-in-law Erich Kilbarger; her grandchildren, Brandon Kilbarger and Charlotte Kilbarger of Belvidere; her siblings, Bill Caraway (Michelle) of Goreville, Bob Caraway (Tina) of Vergennes and Julie Caraway Morris (Matt) of West Frankfort; her nieces and nephews, Jami Kreuter (Caraway), Jenna Ellet (Caraway), Maci Caraway, Nicole Davis, Shawn Davis, John, Matt and Tim Caraway; her aunt Cinda Broy (Davy); and her cousins, Carrie Broy Williford, Steve Broy, Michelle Reed Cerutti, Gina Reed, Don Sullivan, Gary Caraway, Janet Taylor Melvin, Jo Lynn Taylor Melvin and Keith Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, Tami requested a donation to any local animal shelter.
