It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia June Meyers of West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lappin and Myrtle Lappin (Moake); her husband Floyd W. Meyers; her children, Timothy Ogden and Joanie Bozovich; and her brothers, Treallis, Arthur Jake, Monroe, Don and Frank Lappin.

She is survived by: her sons, Barry Ogden of Ashton, IL and Thomas Ogden (Margaret) of Geneva; her stepchildren, Thomas Meyers of Michigan, Carolyn Poe of Indianapolis and Linda Stoneburner of Michigan; her granddaughter Rachel Franklin of West Frankfort; and her sisters-in-law, Jeannine and Joan Lappin. She is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church.
