It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen R. Bailey (West Frankfort, Illinois), born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Winfred "Bill" Bailey; his wife Diane Bailey; his children, Stephen R. Bailey, Jr. (Clara), Kim Pondelick (Jack) and Stacy Johns (Dane); his grandchildren, Ann, Rachel, Jack, Faith, Dylan, Ezra, Eli and Ewan; his siblings, Irish Twin (Pete) and Zane Bailey (Cindy); and his former wife Sandra Bailey.
Donations in Steve's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or The Night's Shield, a Homeless Youth Shelter in West Frankfort and will be accepted at the funeral home.
