With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Hill of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Benton, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Rice and Crystal Rice (Launius); her former husband William Saul (Bill); her son Mark Alan Saul; and her grandchildren, Dana and Adam McElwee.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Hill (Bob) of West Frankfort; her children, William Marty Saul (Anna) of Marion and Penny McElwee (Chuck) of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Crystal Saul Crews (Bob), Bryan Saul, Jessica Walker (Jason), Aaron McElwee, Matthew McElwee and Amy Davis; her sister Marjorie Carr of Herrin; and her cousin Larry Overturf of Akin. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, several loving nieces and nephews.
