It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Saundra Hawkins of West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Buck' and Mary Ann Green; and her siblings, Kathern Bennett and Edward Green. She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Hendershot (Richard); her grandchildren, Kyle Heltsley, Terra Mitchell and Casey Taylor; and her siblings, G. David Green (Lessie), Bill Green (Donna), Gary Green (Lynn), Lola Barker (Kenny), Peggy Green (Kenny Walker), Fay Reed (late Everett) and Susan Green (Richard Baudison). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Funeral Home (213 E Oak St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
