She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Hill Jr. and Emma Lou Hill; her husband Ellis Melvin; and her siblings, Mary Riley and Paul Hill.
She is survived by: her sons, James Melvin (Meagan Jones) of West Frankfort, Joel Melvin of Indianapolis and Timothy Melvin (Doris) of Dexter; her grandson Chase Melvin; and her siblings, Margaret Molt (Joe) of Cisne and Jimmy Hill (Gina) of Cisne. She is also survived by 5 nieces and 8 nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 and restrictions from the State of Illinois, a private graveside services will be held at the Denning Cemetery in West Frankfort on Friday, June 5, at 11:00 A. M. Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort are handling the arrangements.
