He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Deason and Florence Deason (Southland); his wife Juanita Deason; his daughter Lisa Reese; and his siblings, Howard, Corky Deason, Mona Odum and Dorothy Sloan.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Jackanicz of West Frankfort; his grandchildren, Preston Deason (Megan), Trey Jackanicz (Sydney McPhail), Brianne Deason, Sara Deason and Brandi Reese; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Jenna, Ava, Addison, Myles, Lukus, Kynzi, Cash, Holdyn, Maxx, Kylar, Kanon and Frankie Jo; and his sisters, Barbara Mercer and Linda Burke.
