He is survived by: his son Jason Thompson (Marcy Morefield) of West Frankfort, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Audra Thompson of Effingham, Illinois; his grandchildren, Makala Bishop (Caleb), Tyler Thompson, Josh Fisher (Tracie), Ryan Epperheimer (Megan), Brady Epperheimer, Kara Davis (Matt), Dakota Thompson, Preston Thompson and Addisyn Thompson; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Kaeden, Jacob, Konner, Josiah, Karlei, Maddox, Kambrei, Wren, Briggston, Heaven and Maverick; his siblings, Richard Thompson (Alexis) of Show Low, Arizona and Pat Novak of Huntley, Illinois; and his nieces and nephews, Todd, Tim, Megan, Shawna, Terry, Jamie and Sarah.
