He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Essary and Sylvia Essary (Spilmon); his sons, Darik and Lance Essary; his parents-in-law, Delmar and Dorotha Reed; his brother Earl Essary; his siblings-in-law, Davinna Essary, Bill Blake, Doug Todd and Ralph Todd; and his nephew Travis Todd.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Essary; his daughter Holli Parks (Stuart); his grandchildren, Marris, Maclane Parks, Colton, Tyler and Bailey Essary; his siblings, Frank Essary (Diane), LeRoy Essary, Lois Blake, Lela Todd, Karon Essary and Donna Todd; his sister-in-law Dianne Essary; and his close friends, Gene and Joyce Neafus.
