He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Earl and Eva Irene Braden (Feuquay); and his brothers, Jimmy Braden, Willis Braden, Larry Braden, Delbert Shelton and Pete Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Scotty Braden (Michelle) of Kentucky, Robert W. Braden (Liz) of Kentucky, Rebecca Braden (Zachary Quertermous) of Shawneetown and Laura Castellano (David) of West Frankfort; and his sisters, Linda Holman of West Frankfort, Judy Kelley of West Frankfort and Debbie Humphries of West Frankfort. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
