He is survived by: his parents, Michael Dewayne Smith and Patricia Joy Smith (Malec) of West Frankfort, IL; his siblings, Paisley Kay Malec of West Frankfort, IL, Peyton Marie Malec of West Frankfort, IL and Nick Dewayne Smith of West Frankfort, IL; his grandmothers, Rhonda Kay Dunford (Steve) of Benton, IL and Starla Smith of West Frankfort, IL; his great-grandparent Joyce Duchene of Mulkeytown, IL; his aunt Sylvia; his uncle Nathan Malec of West Frankfort, IL; his cousin Ethan Malec; and his uncles, Raymond and David Baker of Marion, IL. He is also survived by several other family members and his many friends.
