He is survived by: his parents, Jean Dawson (Hopkins) and Ed Dawson; his stepmother Carolyn Dawson; his children, Garrett Cardwell and Callie Dawson; his sister Debbie Mayer; his grandchildren, Garrett Michael Cardwell and Samantha Cardwell; and his great grandchild Liam Carroll.
