He is survived by: his children, Carrie Lee Carter (Thad), Jodi Lyn Peters (Kent) and Ralph Eugene Ledbetter III (Jody); his sister Sharon Vaughn; his wife Kim Ledbetter; his grandchildren, Shawn Sturgill (Destiny), Riley Pierce, Danielle Sturgill and Benjamin Peters; his great grandchild Macey Layne Sturgill; and his nieces, Jenise Tondini, Dana Vinyard, Jennifer Panzeca and Joy Hubert.
