She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon "Churney" Davis and Juanita Davis. She is survived by: her husband Floyd D. Herring; her children, Laura Peyton (Ron), Dana Heine (Neil) and Darren Herring (Holly); her brother Dennis Davis; and her grandchildren, Nichole Webb, Kyle Webb, Justin Webb, Kailyn Kramer (Webb) and Kristin Fletcher (Webb). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
