She was predeceased by: her father Arvie Gwain Dorris; her sister Barbara Ellis; and her niece Abbie Lynn Woolsey. She is survived by: her mother Margaret "Susan" Dorris (Doxsie) of West Frankfort; her son Brandon Ray of West Frankfort; and her brother Robert Dorris (Sherma) of West Frankfort. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
