It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Sue Melvin (West Frankfort, Illinois), born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2019, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cappellano and Clara Cappellano (Hess); and her siblings, Lloyd Shelton, Robert Shelton, Thomas Leroy (Shelton), Clara Mae Ryan and Margaret Richardson.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Melvin of West Frankfort; her daughters, Marcia Teffertillar (Edward Johnson) and Jamie (Robert Pearce); her stepson Thomas Paluska of Eureka, IL; her granddaughter Alexis Johnson; her stepgrandchildren, Bethany Paluska, Melodie Paluska, Devan Paluska, Mackenzie Paluska, Stephanie Paluska and Zackary Paluska; her brother Frank; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Shelton of Alger, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
