She was predeceased by: her parents, Suz Story and Ira Story; her husband John Walter Hemminghaus; and her daughter Cindy Hemminghaus. She is survived by: her children, Susan Benifiel (Terry) and Jon Hemminghaus; her grandchildren, Seth, Erin Benifiel and Katie Hemminghaus; and her great grandchildren, Jaylynn, Jesse and Kadin Davis.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, no more than 50 people can be in attendance for visitation or funeral.
