It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred E Brown (West Frankfort, Illinois), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 23, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton N. Bugbee and Mildred M. Bugbee (Oatley); and her son Arthur E. Brown III. She is survived by: her brother Carlton Bugbee; her husband Arthur BrownJr; her children, Steven Brown (Lori) of West Greenwich, RI, Scott Brown (Mara) of Cape Coral, FL and Holly Hopkins (Michael) of West Frankfort; her siblings, Alden Bugbee of Florida, Rita Bugbee and Lucille Peterson; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Brown, Chelsea Smith, Matthew Hopkins, Ryan Hopkins, Dean Rufener and Eric Brown.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Southern Illinois or the St. John's Catholic School.
