With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike McDaniel of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Helen, Verron McDaniel, Harry and Zelma Wicker; and his aunt Cathy Wicker Harkins.
He is survived by: his parents, Charles McDaniel and Sharon McDaniel (Wicker) of West Frankfort; his son Hunter McDaniel of Benton; his fiancée Toni Sinks; his children, Lucas and Makinley Roberts of Ewing; his brothers, Mark McDaniel (Carla) of West Frankfort and Tim McDaniel (Amy) of Carterville; his nieces and nephews, Kylie (Logan Cameron), Kourtney McDaniel (Kodey Costello), Morgan McDaniel (Jimmy Drennon), Tyler McDaniel (Alayna Scholz) and Ethan Mathes; and his great-niece Addison Cameron.
Due to new COVID-19 restrictions, it is recommended that you wear a mask for the visitation and funeral per a mandate by the Governor of Illinois.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Hunter McDaniel Scholarship Fund for his education and will be accepted at the funeral home.
