He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Giles and Jean Giles (Wilson); and his sister JoLynn Carter. He is survived by: his niece Tyra Stein of Johnston City; his great-niece Kara Jo Stein of Johnston City; and his cousin Carol Wilson (Marvin) of Thompsonville.
