Michael Leon Beers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Leon Beers of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rawleigh Leon and Linda Lorene Beers (South); his stepfather Herbert Vaughn; and his brother Paul Beers. He is survived by: his close friend Terri Kimbro of West Frankfort; his son Chad Beers (Heather) of Johnston City; his stepdaughter Tara Tubbs (Josh) of Kuttawa, KY.; his grandchildren, Skye, Samantha Beers, Braxton, Bryson and Brock Tubbs; his former wife Patti Rowland of Johnston City; his sisters, Reba Barra (Bill) of Johnston City and Brenda Evans (Mark) of Marion; and his uncle Jack South (Brenda) of Johnston City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
