She was predeceased by: her parents, John Karroll and Maggie Karroll (Peterson); her husbands, Bill Moore and Wavell Burton; her daughter Sue Lucas; her grandsons, Jim Melvin, Todd Lucas, Jeff and Jason Aldridge; and her brothers, Reginald Karroll, J. B. Karroll, Hank Karroll and Johnnie Karroll.
She is survived by: her daughters, Miki Melvin and Cheryl Aldridge; her grandchildren, Greg Melvin (Ann), Toma Szabat, Amanda Beaver and Nichole Lucas; her sister Mary Gertrude Jones; and her friend Garrett Green. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren.
