With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loren Edward Marks Jr. (West Frankfort, Illinois), born in Thompsonville, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Renz and Loren Marks; his sisters, Frances Pfortmiller, Joann Boyd and Lucille Morthland; and his daughter-in-law Gretchen Ruth Marks.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Marks (Milde); his sons, Jeffrey Michael, Joseph Wilson and Loren Marks, III (Lori); his stepchildren, Tracy Lane of Decatur, IL and Richard Lane of Kennesaw, GA.; and his grandchildren, James, Jonathon Marks, Lily, Abigail Marks, Jessica Arnold and Kelly Marks.
