She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Sullivan and Emma Sullivan (Lampley). She is survived by: her husband Vernell Virgil Burton; her sister Lois (Norman McFarland) of McLeansboro; her daughters, Renee Hall (William Tracy) of West Frankfort, Rhonda Broy (Jarrett) of West Frankfort and Crystal Evans (Larry) of Benton; her grandchildren, William Timothy (Hannah Hall) of West Frankfort, Tiffany Hall of West Frankfort, Ashley Harper (James) of West Frankfort, Dustin O'Daniel of West Frankfort, Lane O'Daniel of West Frankfort and Michael Thomas of West Frankfort; and her great grandchild William Thatcher Hall of West Frankfort. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; two step great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caldwell Baptist Church or Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
