He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Karnes and Grace Karnes (Tackett); and his sister Freda. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Karnes; his children, David Karnes (Tamara), John Karnes (Cory) and Monaka Karnes; his siblings, Ernest Karnes (Nancy), Mary Lou Martin (Jerry) and Barbara Rogers (Bob); his grandchildren, J. J., Seth, Jordan, Tayler and Grace; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Aurora, Ellie and Baby Jordan.
Memorials may be made to Plumfield Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
