He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley and Wilma Patton (Keasler); and his siblings, Virginia Tarrant, Maxine Vickers, Imogene Koehler and John C. Patton.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Patton of West Frankfort; his children, Jim Johnson of West Frankfort, Phillip Dean Patton of Lebanon, Ohio, Steve Patton of Marion, Tony and Debbie Patton of Chesapeake Bay, Delaware; and his great great grandchild Rowan James. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Cemetery.
