She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzil Smothers and Mary Smothers; her siblings, Denzil Smothers, Jr. (June Smothers), Louise Parkhill (Dean Parkhill) and Marvin Smothers; her son-in-law David McDonald; her former husband Leon Myers; and her close friend Ed Sullivan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kaye Miller (Larry) of Thompsonville and Connie McDonald of West Frankfort; her grandchildren, Jerry Miller (Jennifer), Jeff Miller (Lauren), Jenny Binkley (Carlton), Tobi McFarland, Burton McFarland (Cathi) and Daniel McDonald (Leeanne); her stepgrandchildren, Tamara Burk and Tracy Jensen (Matthew); and her sister-in-law Brenda Smothers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
