It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary L. Skinner of West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Skinner and Dorothy Skinner (Mabry); his wife Diane Skinner; his sister Judy Lawrence; and his close friend Dorothy Burkitt.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Skinner of West Frankfort and Scott Skinner (Nanette) of West Frankfort; his close friend Carol Kellerman of West Frankfort; his sister-in-law Glen Dora Hunt of Louisville; and his cousins, Roger Smith of West Frankfort and Janice Manis of West Frankfort.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it is mandatory that mask be worn and there be social distancing at the visitation and funeral.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Gary to his grandson August Skinner Rehabilitation Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
