He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Spiller and Roslyn Spiller (Nicklin); his sister Beverly Ann Armes; his stepmother Madeline Spiller; and his nephew Charles Armes.

He is survived by: his nephew Dale Armes (Alisa); and his brother-in-law Vernon Armes. He is also survived by several cousins and extended family.
