He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Herring and Hettie Herring; his wife Phyllis Davis; and his brothers, Ellis and Don Herring.
He is survived by: his sister Norma (Harper); his brother-in-law Dennis Davis; his nieces and nephews, Laura Peyton (Ron), Dana Heine (Neil) and Darren Herring (Holly); and his grandchildren, Nichole Webb (CJ), Kyle Webb (Morgan), Justin Webb (Selina), Kailyn Kramer (Matt) and Kristin Fletcher (Collin). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
