It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Anna Avery of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Armin Scholes and Dora Scholes (Davis); her husband William Avery; her son Frank Avery; and her brother Frank Scholes.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta L. Avery and William Hoffman (Brenda); her sisters, Linda Davis (John), Julie Schaefer and Helen Teter; her grandchildren, Melinda Wade (Mike), Matthew Wade and Cameron Hatfield (Tiffany); and her great grandchildren, Skyler and Alexis.
Memorials may be made to The Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
