With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Woods of West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Lamb and James Lamb; her husband David Woods; her children, Amy Rice (Todd) of Carmi, Angie Woods of Chesterfield and Andy Woods of West Frankfort, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Matthew Rice of Chicago and Megan Rice of Smyrna, Tennessee.; her siblings, James Earl Lamb (Lynn) of St. Charles, Karen Wiseman of Port Charlotte and Kathy Phelps (Larry) of Eldorado, Illinois.; her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hisgen of Loveland and Jerry Lynn Hindman (Richard) of Carmi; her uncle William Mabry; her friends, Jody Kimmel and Gayla Mondino; her parents-in-law, George and Agnes Woods; and her brother-in-law Robert Hisgen.

Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Methodist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
