She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Dick" Glover and Jamima Glover (Irby); her husband John L. Simmons; her son-in-law William Mark Russell; her siblings, Richard, Jimmy, Jack Glover, Janneta Marteney and Peggy Glover; her niece Kelly Marteney; and her nephew Alan E. Shaw.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Russell (Simmons) of West Frankfort; her grandchildren, Johnny Simmons, Mirabella McKeown, Sarafina Terrana (Mike), Madeline Arteman (Lane) and Max Pernitsky; her great grandchildren, Ivy Arteman, Louli and Coco Bozic; her stepgrandchildren, Emily Zurlinden (Justin), Alicia Mormino, Josh Russell and Kaitlyn Russell; her nieces, Jackie Shaw, Susan Darnell and Amanda Rone; and her nephew Daniel Glover. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and many cousins as well as numerous friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Tower Heights Cemetery Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
