It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derryl Shuman (West Frankfort, Illinois), born in Steger, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Shuman and Frances Shuman (Coonce); his grandson Bradley Thomas Chitwood; and his brother Chuck Shuman. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Shuman (Shelton); his children, Kevin Shuman of Benton and Francise Chitwood of West Frankfort; his stepdaughters, JaDean Towle (Tim) of West Frankfort, Melissa Benedict (Tim) of Benton, Jennifer York (Richard) of West Frankfort, Angie Willett of Sikeston and Brenda Hamilton of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.; and his sister Rita Martin of Crete, Illinois..
