With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David L. Cameron of West Frankfort, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Cameron and Mary Cameron (Russell); and his siblings, Russell, Brenda Barnes and Bernita Gore.
He is survived by: his wife Jill; his children, Tracy Cameron, Cassie Laswell (Joe) and Katrina Spetter (Gavilan); his siblings, Dewey Cameron (Melva), Carl Cameron (Margaret), Gordon Cameron (Janice), Gary Cameron (Faye), Boyd Cameron (Linda), Alice Racey (Bob), Shelia Jones (Jerry) and Denise Short (James); his grandchildren, Michael J., Maci Laswell, Avalynn and Madalynn Spetter; his great grandchild Maritza; and also Roger Hauenstein. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Funeral Home (213 E Oak St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
