He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Lavell Curby; and his grandparents, Lance, Catherine Lindsey, George, Pauline Gossage, Burnell and Bertha Curby.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Joyce Curby-Williams (Gossage); his wife Nicholle Curby of West Frankfort; his son Anthony Curby of West Frankfort; his stepfather John T. Williams of West Frankfort; his brother Lance Curby (Racheal) of Murphysboro; his stepsiblings, Kirsten Carson (Kyle) of Herrin, John Williams (Crystal) of Kentucky and David Williams (Joan) of Mt. Vernon; his parents-in-law, Marcia Lefler-Thompson of Freeman Spur and Wesley Thompson of Freeman Spur; and his pet Slick. He is also survived by several aunts, cousins.
