She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Hayse and Josephine Hayse (Sweet); her husband John Scott Chapman; her son Paul Michael Chapman; and her brothers, Richard and Terry Hayse.

She is survived by: her children, Denise Rhodes of Jackson and Chris Chapman of West Frankfort; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Alexis, Taylor and Michael.
