He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Gunter and Chloe (Cremeens); and his siblings, JoAnn Hall, Lulabelle Darnell, Nelma Short, Leonard and Donald Gunter.
He is survived by: his brother Richard Gunter (Janetta) of Demotte; and his nephew Randy Hall of West Frankfort. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
