He is survived by: his children, Byford Barnard, Jr. (Vickie), Evelyn Wood, Susan Rowley and Dianna Simmons (Randy); and his sister C. Etta. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
