With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Berna Dawn Hammers of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, George and Lena Duhlstine; her husband Lindbergh Hammers; and her sister Phyllis. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Linda Hammers, Sheila Hammers, Ron Hammers (Lory) and Tina Wall (Bill).

Memorials may be made to the Southpoint Church of God Youth group and will be accepted at the church.
