He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Russell and Reba Russell (Woodham); his wife Jerry Lynn; his siblings, Horace "Bud" Russell, David "Dago" Russell of West Frankfort, IL., James Russell, Cebran Russell, Edward Scurlock, Reba Imergean Spinks, Helen Waldron and Dorothy Taylor; and his sister-in-law Camilla Russell.
He is survived by: his former wife Virginia Kaye Kendrick (Phillips); his children, Kevin Russell (Michelle) of West Frankfort and Renee Mifflin (David) of West Frankfort; his stepson Kevin L. Kendrick (Maritza) of Clarksville, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Heather Russell, Garrett, Matthew Russell, Josh Mifflin (Carmen), Kristen Eldridge (Elmo) and Kataia L. Kendrick; and his great grandchildren, Brennon McCord (Mackenzie), Ethan, Leyten Earl, Aubrey Rash, Izabella, Colton Mifflin, Remington and Xander Eldridge. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
