She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shirley and Fanny M. Shirley (Loucks); her husband Harold E. McClure Sr.; her sons, Harold E. McClure Jr. and William Jesse McClure; her sisters, Irene Crawford and Gracie Curtis; her daughters-in-law, Beverly and Brenda McClure; her granddaughter Marla Shy; and her great grandchildren, Kyle Applewhite and Derek Hammonds.

She is survived by: her children, Margaret Hammonds, Maxine Hall, Gloria "Dean" (Jack McReynolds) and Jerry D. "J. D."; and her daughter-in-law Vada McClure. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
