It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Francis Riedl (West Dundee, Illinois), born in Wayne City, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Scott and Mae Hodgen Scott. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Brenda Rainey (Thomas), Penny Johnson (Ronald) and Daniel Riedl (Sis); her brothers, Jackie Scott (Joyce) of Sims and Thomas Scott of Elgin; and her grandchildren, Thomas Rainey (Lauren), Christopher Rainey (Vanessa), Jeremy Rainey, Jamie Cvengros (Christopher), Nicholas Riedl, Emma Riedl and John Riedl. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
At Ruby's request, her body will be donated for the advancement of science.
