With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Marie Alters in West Dundee, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pleasant Sr. and Maxine Pleasant; her brother William 'Billy Pleasant Jr.; her nephew William Pleasant III; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Smith.

She is survived by: her husband David Alters; her children, Tracy Schultz, Karin Alters, David Alters Jr. and Jeff Alters (Katie); her grandchildren, Bradley Schultz (Ashley), Brittany Fermo (Alexander), Baylee Schultz, Lauren Alters and Jack David Alters; her sisters, Suzie Verkaik, Jill Vassilogambros (William) and Jackie Smith; and her sister-in-law Jackie Pleasant. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Illinois Beagle Rescue would be greatly appreciated, as she loved her Beagle babies dearly (Buddy, Wrigley, Charlie).
