We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Joseph Francis Borowski of West Dundee, Illinois, born in Calumet City, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Borowski and Agnes A. Borowski (Schenold); his wife Inga Hallstrom; and his siblings, David, Virginia and Rita.

He is survived by: his daughters, Terri Kobel (Randy) of Champaign, IL and Elise Borowski; his grandsons, Eric and David Kobel; his sister-in-law Shirley Hallstrom; and his close friend Inga. He is also survived by five nephews, three nieces.

“My deepest sympathies to Joe’s family from a former student and friend where I attended Oakton community college in the early 70s. He was a fine man, and great to be with always positive. I vividly remember being a member of the flying club and he took me and a couple other people up in a single engine Cessna airplane down to Joliet and back up to what was then Palwaukee Airport in Wheeling. Quite a fun day. I’m so glad he had a long, wonderful life. David G”
